St. Stanislaus Parish Ministries
Baptism of Infants
Baptism of Infants typically takes place during Mass on the 3rd weekend of the month. Prior to baptism, parents are
required to attend a baptism class, which are held four times per year. Contact the Parish Office for more information.
Education & Faith Formation
The Education & Faith Formation Commission manages the parish Religious Education programs, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
and Children (RCIC), and preparatory programs for those wishing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Eucharist.
Parish Nurses Program
The Parish Nurses promote wellness in the church by assisting with the Sacrament of the Sick liturgies, providing blood pressure screenings,
coordinating First Aid for Parish buildings and events, and providing health counseling, education and support.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry program works closely with the Education & Faith Formation Commission, providing faith-based activities,
recreational events, sponsored trips, study groups, and resources to the youth of our Parish.
Christian Service
The Christian Service Commission is a broad-reaching organization. To our Parishioners (Inreach), they provide hospitality, welcome to
new members, and the Parish Nurses program. To the larger community (Outreach), the Commission supports many charitable causes, including
the Christmas Giving Tree for local shelters, and supports the Social Justice mission of the church.
Funeral Ministry & Grief Recovery
This ministry coordinates with funeral homes to provide the necessary resources for the Rite of Christian Burial, oversees the funeral
luncheon committees, and provides ongoing support for the grieving through the Grief Recovery Series.
Weddings
The Wedding ministry assists couples preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage. This ministry provides marriage preparation courses and
assists in arranging the Marriage ceremony, including coordinating parish resources and conducting rehearsal.
